Honda will unveil the latest generation of its perennially popular midsize sedan to the world live on the Internet on July 14. The new Camry fighter has been described by Honda officials as “the most fun to drive, premium and dramatically styled Accord ever."
Although it hasn’t released any power figures, Honda announced that the 2018 Accord would offer a new 1.5-liter direct-injected Turbocharged with either a CVT or six-speed manual transmission; a 2.0-liter direct-injected Turbo engine with a 10-speed automatic or two-motor gas-electric hybrid system with a conventional automatic. The goal is to maximize both performance and efficiency.
Honda says this Accord will be the sportiest to date and have driving dynamics to match.
If the new model closely resembles the image released by Honda (Below) , it's easy to see buyers will demand that it goes on sale again in those markets where the Accord has been discontinued like the UK.
